“Stride Forward with Viet Nam” walking event held along coastal area of Lam Dong

The “Stride Forward with Viet Nam” walking event will feature a walking activity at the square on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Phan Thiet Ward, Lam Dong Province), promising to attract a large number of residents and tourists.

In support of the “Stride Forward with Viet Nam” initiative contributing to the campaign “One billion steps into the new era”, organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 –2025), National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025), and the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 –2025), the Phan Thiet Ward Public Security (Lam Dong Province), in coordination with Vietcombank Binh Thuan, will hold the event on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street.

The event will take place from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on August 16, at the headquarters of Vietcombank Binh Thuan, located on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Phan Thiet Ward). This marks the first time a walking event is organised nationwide on the same day and at the same time.

The “Stride Forward with Viet Nam” event aims to promote reduced use of motor vehicles and to spread a green lifestyle.

With the message that one billion steps will symbolise national unity, this is where every Vietnamese citizen joins together in a movement for a prosperous and sustainable future for the country, and a healthy future for each individual.

Wherever they may be across the homeland, every step taken contributes to a brighter future for beloved Viet Nam.

People aged 6 and above can register to take part in the one-hour walking programme. In addition, staff from local Party organisations, government agencies, mass organisations, and businesses in nearby areas will also join the walk. The event also calls for contributions to the “For the Poor – Walk With Children” Fund via Vietcombank Digibank.
