Temporary pontoon bridge reopens in Quang Ninh

The opening of temporary pontoon bridge Km3+4, in Hai Yen, Mong Cai City, the northern province of Quang Ninh, was officially given the all-clear again, following more than 3 months of suspension of clearance from February 26.

Accordingly, the daily clearance time is from 9:00 to 17:00 (Beijing time); ie from 8:00 to 16:00 (Hanoi time).

From the early morning on May 30, 30 cargo vehicles imported from China to Vietnam and 30 vehicles stored at Thanh Dat Port completed customs clearance procedures via the temporary pontoon bridge at Km 3+4 Hai Yen.

Previously, in order to ensure the import and export of goods through the border gates in the area, Mong Cai City (Vietnam) and Dongxing City (China) held active exchanges and discussions on solutions to restore the clearance of goods associated with ensuring prevention and fighting against COVID-19 epidemic.

Mong Cai City has drastically focused on measures to prevent and control the epidemic, proactively and effectively prepare flexible and adaptive epidemic plans, and maintain a closed "safe green area" in the border-gate area of Bac Luan 2 Bridge and the opening of the temporary pontoon bridge Km3+4 in Hai Yen from April 2, 2022.
