According to the provincial report, as of June 20, a total of 3,007 out of 3,008 households across the province have commenced construction and received financial assistance to improve their housing conditions.

Thai Binh is among the few localities in the country offering the highest levels of support, providing 100 million VND (3,800 USD) per household for new home construction and 50 million VND (1,900 USD) per household for repairs.

Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Thai Binh People’s Committee, highlighted that in response to the movement launched by the prime minister and the call from the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, Thai Binh has completed the programme in just over 200 days, supporting more than 3,000 households with new home construction and housing upgrades.

Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than affirmed that the results demonstrate the power of great national unity.

He called for continued efforts to mobilise the participation of all sectors of society in supporting the material and spiritual wellbeing of the poor, national contributors, and other disadvantaged groups.

At the same time, he urged authorities at all levels to enhance self-reliance among supported households, discouraging dependency, while creating favourable conditions for vocational training, job creation, and access to loans for economic development.
