The fair aims to offer Vietnamese students an opportunity to learn about Italy’s modern education system and unique learning environment. This year’s programme takes place in three major cities: Ha Noi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the event, Italian Ambassador to Viet Nam Marco Della Seta emphasised that the event serves as an educational bridge between Italy and Viet Nam, reflecting friendship and bilateral cooperation through knowledge exchange. He noted that the Italian government considers education a solid foundation for mutual understanding between the two nations and is committed to providing maximum support for Vietnamese students — from student visa procedures to assistance following university admission to diverse scholarship programmes and academic opportunities for international learners in Italy.

Representatives from Italian universities also introduced a variety of attractive scholarship opportunities. Irene Toscana, from the Promotion, Admissions and International Student Office of the University of Macerata, shared that the university currently has a cooperation agreement with Ha Noi University, offering exclusive scholarships to its students.
The university also participates in Italian government scholarship programmes such as MAECI–Study in Italia and Invest Your Talent in Italia. In addition, tuition fees are adjusted according to national income levels, meaning Vietnamese students pay only about 156 EUR per year, reflecting Italy’s commitment to fair and accessible education for all learners.
Vincenzo Fumetta, representing the University of Palermo (UniPa), added that the Italian government allows international students to extend their residence permit for an additional 12 months after graduation, creating opportunities for employment or further study. At the event, Vietnamese students had the chance to engage directly with university representatives and alumni, gaining genuine insights into academic life, daily living, and cultural integration in Italy.
Tue Nhi, a student from Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, shared: “I was impressed by the friendliness of the teachers, the diversity of the academic programmes, and the many scholarship opportunities available for international students.”

Within the framework of the event, organisers also presented awards to participants of the “Explore Studying in Italy 2025” and “Quiz Study in Italia” contests. Prizes included attractive gifts and a round-trip ticket from Ha Noi to Milan, contributing to an exciting and inspiring atmosphere that encourages deeper exploration of Italian culture and education.
