At the event, Director of the Tra Vinh Department of Planning and Investment Chau Van Hoa stated that the province has approved domestic investments worth nearly 12 trillion VND (500 million USD) since the start of 2022.
The province is currently home to 37 foreign-invested projects, worth over 3 billion USD, and 342 domestic projects, worth 135 trillion VND (5.6 billion USD), added Hoa.
According to Deputy Director of Trung Nam Tra Vinh Wind Power Company, the province has many advantages to attract investors and the company will continue investing in renewable energy development to transform Tra Vinh into a centre of renewable energy in the Mekong Delta.
For his part, Tra Vinh Vice Chairman Le Van Han said that the province will continue to call for investment in clean energy, aquaculture and the processing of agricultural and fishery products.
He pledged to accompany and support enterprises in their production and business activities.
On the same day, Phu Yen and Kon Tum Provinces held dialogues with the local business communities to help address their difficulties and create a favourable business climate.
