According to Travel+Leisure, Quang Binh is a spectacular region of Vietnam where visitors can immerse themselves in a magnificent system of caves, poetic rivers and springs.
Accordingly, the magazine selected the list of magnificent destinations and Vietnam is a tropical retreat that “has stolen the hearts” of Travel+Leisure’s editors.
“The undulating mountains and lush greenery make Quang Binh a haven, promising an escape to untouched nature”, the editor noted in Travel+Leisure’s article.

The article also highlighted that “Dong Hoi, the capital, is an example of how the locals embrace nature, and it can be experienced through dishes like Snakehead Gruel Fish, Eel Vermicelli and Banh Beo”.
As a haven of caves, Quang Binh is particularly noteworthy for its ownership of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, recognised by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site.
Along winding paths and legendary rivers, visitors can discover caves. Moreover, Travel+Leisure also suggests the exploration of Phong Nha-Ke Bang, home to Son Doong Cave - the world's largest cave and a diverse ecosystem.

Previously, the world's leading travel guide magazine Lonely Planet, also announced Quang Binh as possessing four of the six most worthwhile destinations in Vietnam.
