This is pursuant to a masterplan on the preservation and restoration of the Trang An – Tam Coc – Bich Dong special national landscape site in Ninh Binh province until 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The plan was approved by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on July 10.
The Trang An landscape complex was recognised by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014.
The plan’s scale covers the special national landscape site of over 9,600ha. The plan aims to preserve the outstanding global values of the heritage site, concretise the strategies and development orientations of Ninh Binh province, and realise Vietnam’s commitment to UNESCO in the conservation and promotion of heritage values.
The plan will also create a legal basis for attracting investment to the complex and boosting the role of the local community in preserving and promoting the value of the heritage site.
