Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee Pham Quang Ngoc affirmed that the tourism week is one of the important activitiesaiming to promote and introduce tourism products as well as the brand and tourism position of Ninh Binh as a safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination.
The event also aims to promote the marvellous beauty of the land of Ninh Binh, especially the cultural and natural heritage of Trang An, to both domestic and foreign visitors, thus stimulating local tourism growth.
Participating in the event, visitors have the chance to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of golden rice fields stretching along under the stunning limestone ranges and river and enjoy listening to folk songs at the boat wharf and caves.
The event also includes cuisine display and other activities at the walking street.
The event was held for the first time in 2018 and is become an annual activity of the province’s tourism sector in a bid to attract more visitors and boost the development of the local tourism.
The tourism week is scheduled to run until May 28.
