The aid package, worth over VND8 billion (over US$377,000) includes two multi-functional resuscitation beds, two ventilators, two patient monitors, four transfusion machines, two electric syringe pumps with PCA and TCI functions, two high-speed blood and fluid transfusion heaters, an intra-aortic balloon pump and a cardiac defibrillator, among others.
Since 2010, VietinBank has provided medical equipment and facilities to Viet Duc Hospital with a total value of over VND17 billion (over US$800,000). The donations aim to help ease the shortage of technical equipment to meet patient needs and increase hospital management’s capacity to provide better healthcare services.
