The APICTA Awards, regarded as the “Oscars” of the Asia–Pacific ICT industry, are an annual international award presented by the Asia–Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) comprising 14 member economies, with the aim of recognising and honouring outstanding software products, solutions, and services.
APICTA 2025 brought together 205 teams with 256 nominations from 12 economies, competing in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (China), from December 5 to 8. This is an essential platform for promoting cooperation, technology transfer, and investment attraction in the region.
The Viet Nam delegation to APICTA 2025 included three judges and eight teams participating in 11 nominations. Showcasing pioneering technology solutions in key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and industrial digital transformation, the delegation achieved highly positive results with three awards: one first runner-up, one second runner-up, and one merit.
The APICTA Awards serve not only as a platform for recognition but also as an important commercial and technological bridge, opening opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to access international markets. The strong performance at APICTA 2025 clearly demonstrates the global competitiveness of Viet Nam’s ICT enterprises, particularly in critical areas such as AI, Industry 4.0, and security.
These awards create a powerful branding boost, enabling Vietnamese enterprises to more easily access demanding markets, attract investment, and expand international cooperation. Moreover, these achievements act as a catalyst for the ICT sector to continue innovating, mastering core technologies, and asserting its position as an emerging technology hub in the Indo–Pacific region, thereby contributing to the national digital transformation goals.
