The conference was organised by NIC in coordination with AGIBOT, Great Education Technology Group and ECOLIV Technology within the framework of the National Innovation Festival 2026.

The event attracted more than 600 delegates, including leaders of central and local ministries, departments and agencies, representatives of hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises, research institutes, and over 20 higher education and vocational colleges.

In his opening address, Hoang Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of NIC, emphasised that Embodied AI plays a pivotal role in addressing labour shortages, ensuring safety and enhancing growth quality in key sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, healthcare, services, as well as education and tourism.

NIC identifies Embodied AI and robotics as one of its core technological pillars, he said, adding that the centre is focusing on three key tasks: connecting and mobilising policy and technological resources; developing high-quality human resources; and simultaneously promoting testing and commercialisation, leveraging the infrastructure at the Hoa Lac High-Tech Zone to establish NIC as a leading demonstration and testing sandbox.
