This marks a significant milestone in asserting the position and ambitions of Viet Nam’s drone ecosystem on the global technology map.
The Vietnamese delegation includes Gremsy — a manufacturer of camera gimbal stabilisers for drones and UAVs; Realtime Robotics — a company developing versatile, backpackable drones for military use; and Saolatek — a firm focusing on UAV/Drone integration, research and development, and education.
XPONENTIAL is the world’s largest annual exhibition on UAVs and autonomous systems. It has been held annually in the United States by the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) since 2016.
In recent years, Viet Nam has made notable progress in the UAV sector. Forecasts suggest the Vietnamese UAV market could reach billions of USD and generate thousands of jobs by 2035.
Tran Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Low-Altitude Economy Alliance and Founder and CEO of Saolatek Viet Nam, stated that participation in XPONENTIAL 2026 offers opportunities for Vietnamese UAVs to connect and integrate into the value chain — from components and auxiliaries, production and testing, through to global exports.
The event is regarded as a “pivotal point” in affirming Viet Nam’s role as an indispensable link in the global UAV supply chain. At the same time, it aims to advance the goal of establishing Viet Nam as a centre for research, development, and drone production serving the international market, Tuan added.
