Speaking at the launch ceremony, Lu Yongzheng, Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Committee (GPC), head of the GPC’s Publicity Department, and secretary of the GPC’s Education Work Committee, emphasised that the forum is a meaningful initiative to deepen friendship between the younger generations of Viet Nam and China, encouraging them to further promote the deep comradeship and brotherhood between the two nations.
Through the programme’s activities in Guizhou, Vietnamese delegates are expected to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the locality’s revolutionary history—both arduous and heroic—thereby helping sustain the spirit of friendship for a brighter shared future.
For his part, Zhou Li, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Daily, expressed his hope that the journey would inspire young participants to work together to build the China-Viet Nam community with a shared future.
During the event, which will take place until July 6, delegates from Viet Nam and China will visit historic and cultural sites such as the Zunyi Conference site, the Gouba Conference site, the Guizhou Provincial Museum, and Guiyang Big Data Centre, to explore the locality’s contributions to cultural preservation, digital transformation, and tourism development.
