The biennial exhibition is held to showcase Ikebana works by prominent artists as well as domestic and international students. Vietnam is the sole foreign country participating in this year’s event.
The arrangement by Le Dieu Ngoc Linh uses a traditional conical hat as the main ornament to reflect the beauty of Vietnamese women, while the work of Do Vy Anh is a combination of a crane flower with a black vase and red steel wires.

The five-day exhibition features hundreds of flower works, including those arranged by members of the Ikenobo family, especially the 45th headmaster Ikenobo Senei. It is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors.
Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, with a history of more than 600 years. Meanwhile, Ikenobo is the oldest and largest school of ikebana.
