The H47 was manufactured by Viet-Sec Technology Company using PPC, a type of durable and environmentally friendly material that can withstand forceful collisions and harsh weather conditions.
The boat, measuring 13.5 metres in length and 3.5 metres in width, can hold up to 12 crew members and travel at a speed of 30 nautical miles per hour, according to Le Van Hoc, Deputy Director of Viet-Sec Company.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Maj. Gen. Nguyen Quang Dam said the H47 will be very useful in marine patrol and law enforcement activities.
He expressed his sincere thanks to PVFCCo for sponsoring this canoe in order to help the Coast Guard’s forces fulfil their duty.
