Vietnam's medal tally enriched with two more gold medals

Taekwondo artist Le Huynh Chau finished off Ryan of Myanmar 6-1 in the men's 63kg combat finals to rack up today's first gold.

Vovinam fighter Nguyen Thi Quyen Chan brought home the second after edging out Paloy Barckkam from Laos 2-1 in the women's 60kg combat discipline.

Vietnam finished as runners-up in the women's football event after losing 1-2 to Thailand in their final clash that wrapped up a few minutes ago.

The country's collection also increased with another 11 silver medals - five in Vovinam, two in futsal and four in chess, taekwondo, Judo and Kempo.

Judo artists accounted for three of the four bronze medals won today thanks to Ho Thi Nhu Van (women's 57kg combat), Nguyen Tan Cong (men's 73kg combat) and To Hai Long (men's 81kg combat), while the remaining went to the men's volleyball team.
