The movie “Nha Ba Nu”, directed and produced by Tran Thanh, was released to Vietnamese audiences on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and has continuously set records in ticket sales.

The film has just surpassed the revenue milestone of 450 billion VND and is currently the most popular film in the history of Vietnamese cinema.

"Nha Ba Nu" tells the story of Nu (played by Le Giang), the owner of a crab soup shop and a stern mother, who faces the pressure of providing for her family. The movie was praised for its depiction of family problems.

The film has the participation of many veteran actors such as People's Artist Ngoc Giau, People's Artist Viet Anh, artist Le Giang, and young artists Song Luan, Uyen An, and Kha Nhu. Tran Thanh takes on the role of Phu Nhuan, the son-in-law of Nu.

In less than a month, "Nha Ba Nu" has broken the sales record of "Bo Gia" (Dad, I’m Sorry), also by Tran Thanh, which was released in early 2022.
