The Congress was attended by over 200 Vietnamese students studying in many cities across Belgium.

Pham Sy Hieu, the chairman of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Belgium for the 2019-2021 term, reviewed the outstanding activities of the Association in the last term, such as organising a traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, a Vietnamese Family Day in Belgium, the welcoming of Vietnamese high-ranking delegations to visit and work in Belgium, and the annual students' football tournament.

At the Congress, the delegates also exchanged experiences and shared difficulties in life, as well as practical solutions to support each other, enhance the effectiveness of the association's activities, and connect with the Vietnamese community in Belgium.

The Congress also elected the Executive Committee for the new term and elected Nguyen Tuan Nghia as the new chairman of the association for the 2022-2024 tenure.

Currently, there are over 200 Vietnamese students studying in Belgium, mainly in seven big cities including Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, Liège, Antwerp, Hasselt and Mons.
