Water puppetry is a form of performing art that combines puppet manipulation skills with music and lighting, and is a cultural speciality of Viet Nam.
Recognised as national intangible cultural heritage, Nguyen Xa water puppetry has been introduced into the curriculum at local schools, helping pupils to learn about and experience all the skills and secrets of performing folk tales.
