With a total investment of nearly 600 billion VND (26 million USD) by 379 Construction – Trading JSC, the project covers an area of 49.79 ha in Tam Thanh commune.

It is designed as a multi-industrial cluster, including mechanics, wood processing, electronics, and textile auxiliaries.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Anh Dung expressed his hope that once operational, Thanh Coi industrial cluster will give a boost to the industrial development and the socio-economic development throughout Vu Ban district in particular and Nam Dinh province in general.

He asked the investor to mobilise available resources to keep the project’s progress on track and on schedule, while working closely with functional agencies to formulate an investment attraction programme, with priority for high-tech and environmentally friendly projects.

He also requested relevant agencies create most favourable conditions for investors to complete projects and operate within the industrial cluster.
