The 12-month project will be implemented in two phases at a total cost of roughly VND484.3 billion (US$22.7 million), sourced from State funds for the expansion of National Highway 1A.

The reinforced concrete flyover spans 1.2 kilometres on National Highway 1A. It accommodates two-way traffic with four lanes, allowing vehicles to travel at a maximum speed of 60 kilometres per hour.

Once completed, the flyover is expected to relieve traffic congestion and ensure traffic safety at the Tam Diep railroad crossing.
