The event aimed to timely honour outstanding enterprises, who have followed Party guidelines and policies and laws of the State, while ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of their employees, thus contributing to ensuring social security and socio-economic development of the country.
Speaking at the event, VSS General Director Nguyen The Manh said that social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance play an increasing role and position in social life and are considered important measurements in evaluating the development level in each country.
He stressed that social insurance policies are well implemented once they draw participation and joint efforts from the business community and employers.
He noted with pleasure that since 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic posing negative impacts on production and business activities, enterprises have still tried their best to realise policies on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance, to ensure the rights of their workers.
Previously, a similar ceremony was held in Ninh Binh province on October 31 to honour 87 businesses in 20 northern cities and provinces for their outstanding performance in implementing social and health insurance policies in the 2017-2021 period.
