The exhibition showcased nearly 200 paintings, photos and posters, especially paradigms introducing initiatives, products and services in the field of environmental protection and plastic waste reduction, towards ensuring safety and security of local water reservoirs.
The works on display honestly reflected the negative effects of plastic waste on human life, the oceans and marine life.
Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment Phan Van Manh said that through the exhibition, Ba Ria-Vung Tau launched a media campaign aimed at raising awareness on environmental protection, especially in local reservoirs across the province.

The exhibition also honoured the joint efforts of volunteer groups, social organisations and businesses in activities responding to the movement of protecting water sources and the environment in Ba Ria-Vung Tau in recent years.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the organising committee also screened short films on the topics of marine waste, plastic waste, environmental pollution and water source protection, as well as organising various activities such as drawing paintings on environmental protection and exchanging waste for green trees.
