Chief justice of the Supreme People's Court pays Tet visit to Yen Bai

Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam Nguyen Hoa Binh paid a visit to the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai on December 26 , ahead of Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival.

In Van Chan District, Chief Justice Nguyen Hoa Binh,who is also a Politburo member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and an accompanying delegation presented 300 gifts to policy beneficiaries and needy people living in difficult circumstances in the communesof Tan Thinh, Minh An, Chan Thinh, Dai Lich, and Cat Thinh.

The delegation also visited and gave gifts to 93-year-old Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hoa, whose husband and son are martyrs, in the town of Nong TruongTran Phu.

At Yen Bai European Plastics Joint Stock Company, the delegation presented Tet gifts to 200 workers in difficult circumstances who are working in the Industrial Park in the south of Yen Bai Province.

Chief Justice Nguyen Hoa Binh wished Yen Bai Province’s leaders and people a happy and successful new year and gave gifts to local workers and poor people.

He emphasised that the authorities, organisations and enterprises in Yen Bai Province have enhanced the care for people and workers in order to welcome a warm Tet holiday.
