Covering more than 230 sq.m in Hien Village, Liep Te Commune, the construction of the house started in March this year with a total investment of over 1 billion VND.
This is the fourth of 16 houses being built under a community programme hosted by the Vietnam Youth Federation and Saigon Commercial Bank.
The house is designed as a space preserving and promoting traditional cultural heritages of La Ha ethnic group. It also served as a venue for local people to host cultural activities and programmes, contributing to strengthening solidarity in the community.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam Youth Federation handed over 2.3 billion VND to fund the construction of eight schools, two social houses, and a kid’s playground in the locality.
A total of 20 scholarships worth 500,000 VND each, and 100 gifts worth a total of 30 million VND were also presented to local ethnic students and elders, respectively.
