At the event, the concert programme “The Fatherland in Our Hearts”, jointly organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ha Noi People’s Committee, was presented the Golden Sol Award in the category of Political Art Programme 2025.
Previously, on January 13, at the “Dep Awards 2025: True Beauty – Spreading Beautiful Values to the Community” organised by Dep Magazine, the concert programme “The Fatherland in Our Hearts” was also honoured in the category of The Concert of the Year.
The concert programme “The Fatherland in Our Hearts”, jointly organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ha Noi People’s Committee on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, has become a distinctive hallmark of contemporary political art.
The programme attracted more than 50,000 audiences at My Dinh Stadium and millions of viewers across digital platforms, with a large-scale stage and world-class performance technology. On TikTok alone, within just two days, around 18,000 related videos were created with more than 500 million views, setting a new record for a political art programme.
The Viet Nam Musicians’ Association Music Awards aim to honour composers, artists and outstanding musical creations in various fields, including composition, performance, theoretical criticists and music trainers in order to encourage them to continue creativity and contribute to the development of the national music in particular, and the country’s culture and arts in general.
The presentation of the Viet Nam Musicians’ Association Music Awards is also an accumulation of creative achievements of each composer and artist, forming a foundation for higher-level awards conferred by the Party and the State in the field of literature and arts.
This year, the Organising Committee received 250 works by 250 authors who are members of the Viet Nam Musicians’ Association from provinces and cities across the country.
In the song category, the Organising Committee presented three A Prizes, 10 B Prizes, 15 C Prizes and 13 Consolation Prizes to outstanding works.
In the categories of instrumental music and choral music, three A Prizes, three B Prizes, three C Prizes and five Consolation Prizes were awarded.
In the field of theory and criticism, the Organising Committee presented awards to the categories of research books, textbooks, collected works and press.
In addition to the political programme category awarded to the concert programme “The Fatherland in Our Hearts”, the Golden Sol Awards were also presented in major categories such as: Music Video of the Year for the work “Tu hoi” by singer Hong Nhung; Live Concert for the programme “Giac mo Sol” by Giang Son; Music Album for the work “Cuon phim” by author Nguyen Vinh Tien and People’s Artist Thanh Lam; and Outstanding Singer awarded to Soobin Hoang Son.
In addition, the Viet Nam Musicians’ Association presented a Special Award on the theme “The 80-Year Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” to the music video “Vinh quang, Oi Viet Nam” by author Nguyen Anh Tri from Ha Noi.
Meanwhile, the First National Chamber Singing Competition 2025 was a musical activity held in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress. It is one of the professional activities of the Viet Nam Musicians’ Association, in order to discover and nurture specialised vocal talents in the chamber music style nationwide.
After two rounds of preliminary and semi-final competitions across regions, 16 outstanding contestants from the three regions of the country were selected to advance to the National Final Round of the National Chamber Singing Competition 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City.
As a result, two First Prizes were awarded to contestants Bui Huyen Trang and Tran Nguyen Kim Ngan. The Organising Committee also awarded four Second Prizes and two Third Prizes. In addition, the Excellent Prize for Revolutionary-Themed Performance was awarded to contestant Tran Thi Hong Nhung, while the Impressive Performance Prize presented to contestant Hoang Uyen Nhi.
