Given the diverse needs of today's travelers, Booking.com has just made suggestions for beach destinations around the world, suitable for the budget criteria of travellers. The list is pulled from data based on discounts and offers during the summer months in popular beach destinations around the world.

Notably, Vietnam's Da Nang has made it to this list of "savings" criteria. Booking.com said that Da Nang is famous for its beautiful stretch of coastline, is known as the most livable city in Vietnam, and is also a location close to three world cultural heritages, namely Hue Imperial Palace, Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary.

Da Nang is also known by global tourists for its pristine stretches of beaches, which are known as the top most beautiful beaches in the world.

Visitors visiting the coastal city of Vietnam can comfortably sunbathe on the beach or play attractive water sports and many other recreational activities in the sea. For those who like cool air, Ba Na Hills is a famous tourist area with many equally attractive recreational activities. In addition, tours to visit traditional ancient villages and learning to make lanterns, are also meaningful activities that are loved by domestic and foreign tourists.

Finally, not only tourists but locals also share the same love for affordable fresh seafood of the coastal city, served with the whole heart of the locals.

Also on the list are beach tourism destinations including Porto Cervo, Sardinia (Italy); Provincetown, Massachusetts (the US); Sokcho, Gangwon-Do (the Republic of Korea); Agadir (Morocco).

According to Booking.com, while 74% of Vietnamese travellers said they would save more when travelling this year, a large proportion (61%) said they are still willing to spend a lot if the experience is worthwhile.

According to the Travel Confidence Index (TCI) 2023 report across the Asia Pacific region (APAC), finance is the biggest concern for Vietnamese people (40%) and tourists are also having prizes.

Specific methods to save more spending this year. Accordingly, to save costs, 44% of Vietnamese tourists will go in low seasons, and 37% will choose less expensive locations.

In addition, 43% of Vietnamese tourists will make full use of loyalty programs to get more incentives – the highest number compared to other countries in the APAC region (followed by India at 29% and Australia at 23).
