Running from October 8 to 15, the exhibition marked the 95th anniversary of the Viet Nam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930–2025) and the 35th anniversary of the Hai Au Female Photography Club. It also paid tribute to the enduring creativity, artistic passion, and quiet contributions of female photographers.

The works on display vividly portrayed the rich cultural tapestry of Viet Nam’s ethnic communities. Through the eyes of these women photographers, everyday life and traditions were brought to life — from the heartfelt smiles of children in mountainous regions and the weathered gazes of highland women, to scenes of labour, festivals, and vibrant traditional attire.

To coincide with the exhibition, the Hai Au Female Photography Club launched a photo book bearing the same title. Spanning 298 pages, the book is the culmination of hundreds of field trips undertaken by 25 club members over many years, offering a compelling visual narrative of 36 ethnic groups across Viet Nam.

A portion of the proceeds from both the exhibition and the sale of the photo book was donated to charitable causes, with particular support directed towards disadvantaged individuals, including victims of Agent Orange.
