The activity carries profound political significance, held towards the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) and in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress.

The exhibition was jointly organised by the Institute of History and the Institute of Viet Nam and World Economy.

It offers an opportunity to look back on the country’s 40-year Renewal journey under the Party’s leadership, while highlighting the sustained and in-depth contributions of the social sciences and humanities in providing scientific evidence for policy and strategy-making, strengthening the ideological foundation, resilience and development aspirations of the nation.

The Institute of History—one of the academy’s predecessor units—presents notable achievements from more than 70 years of establishment and development. Many valuable research works have helped illuminate the nation’s process of building and defending the country, affirming cultural identity and Vietnamese fortitude, especially since the Party assumed leadership.

Alongside this are representative research outcomes from the Institute of Viet Nam and World Economy, which has more than 65 years of growth and has been closely connected with the country’s major development stages, particularly the Doi Moi period. Through theoretical studies, practical reviews and trend forecasting, the institute has provided important scientific arguments to support the Party and State in formulating socio-economic development strategies and policies, while also asserting a pioneering role in research on international integration, green growth, innovation and digital transformation.

Beyond showcasing research achievements, the exhibition also powerfully spreads a message of aspiration for a prosperous and happy country in the new era, through concrete scientific results with strong practical value.

The exhibition is planned to run from January 5 to February 8, 2026.
