Taking place from December 21 to 23, the fair features nearly 100 booths by small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives and businesses in Quang Nam province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Quang Nam provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Pham Viet Tich said that the event aims to introduce visitors to the achievement of the locality in developing OCOP products over the past five years.
Since it was launched in Quang Nam five years ago, the OCOP programme has made significant contributions to boosting the rural economy, and facilitating the building of rural areas more effectively and sustainably.
To date, Quang Nam has had 395 products qualified for the OCOP programme, with categories of food, beverage, handicrafts, and community-based tourism.
