Festival celebrates Ha Noi’s enchanting autumn

The third Ha Noi Autumn Festival opened on November 21 at Tran Nhan Tong Pedestrian Street and Thong Nhat Park under the theme “Ha Noi Autumn – An Autumn of Memories”.

Bringing together around 150 booths from localities, tourism enterprises, airlines, craft villages and artisans, the festival offers a vibrant showcase of culture and creativity.

The festival space is divided into themed areas that capture the essence of autumn, blending tourism, cultural products, traditional crafts and the arts in a harmonious flow.

The Ha Noi Old Quarter’s Travel area features products from airlines, hotels and travel agencies, creating a lively atmosphere for the year-end travel season.

The Taste of Memory area invites visitors to savour dishes associated with Ha Noi’s autumn as well as regional specialities from across the country.

The Ha Noi – Youthful Life area features street performances, craft workshops, sketches and a children’s playground bring energy and fun to the festival.

The Ha Noi – Autumn through the Lens exhibition showcases photographs by professionals and enthusiasts alike, telling the story of the capital through evocative imagery.

Alongside the main displays, a variety of activities are being held during the three-day event, including poetry, music and painting contests for children, an online photography competition, and experiential tours exploring Ha Noi’s historic Five Gates.

The highlight of the festival will be an arts programme at 8:30 a.m. on 23 November at Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street. This performance will present distinctive folk art forms from Ha Noi and the Red River Delta, such as dragon dancing, puppetry and cheo (traditional opera).
