Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh praised the professionalism and methodical approach of the preliminary and final evaluation processes of the second National Press Award "For the Cause of Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Development.

He noted that the themes of this year's submissions were diverse, encompassing a wide range of issues that reflect the Party and State's policies on cultural development. The articles also addressed both macro-level issues and cultural life, as well as cultural, sports, and tourism events.

This year saw an increase in participation from local press agencies, with many local entries showing depth, especially in radio and television. Remarkably, this year's awards even attracted participation from district-level press agencies.

Minh suggested that "cultural elements" could be explored within economic, tourism, and other fields, rather than focusing solely on culture itself.

The results of the final round will be announced at the awardsceremony of the Second National Press Awards "For the Cause of Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Development", which is scheduled to take place at the Hanoi Opera House on August 28, 2024.
