Winners honoured at first National Press Award “For the Development of Culture, Sports and Tourism”

Nhan Dan Newspaper won a second-place prize, two third-place prizes and four consolation prizes in the print newspaper, online newspaper, photojournalism and television categories.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said, along with 94 works of honoured authors, groups of authors and three collectives, the participating works were meticulously and seriously prepared, reflecting truthfully and comprehensively, conveying many profound and meaningful messages, contributing to affirming the imprints and outstanding results of the culture, sports and tourism sectors in the past time.

The first National Press Award "For the Development of Culture, Sports and Tourism" was launched on December 26, 2022. Since its launch, the award has received positive responses from journalists and press agencies nationwide.

The organising board received a total of 1,084 entries from 156 central and local press agencies, showing the high interest of journalists and the public in the culture, sports and tourism sectors.
