Front leader extends Christmas greetings to Vietnamese Christians

President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (VFF) Do Van Chien has sent a letter to extend his best wishes to Christian dignitaries and followers ahead of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

In his letter, Chien highlighted the contributions of many Christians in the fight against COVID-19, during which many volunteered to work on the frontline at patient reception facilities, hospitals and quarantine facilities.

Vietnamese Christians also made donations to the vaccine fund and donated medical supplies and essential goods to support the government in battling the pandemic.

The VFF leader emphasised that he recognised and highly valued the active contributions of Vietnamese Christians in the great national unity bloc.
He expressed his expectations that Christians will always uphold the tradition of patriotism and fine cultural values to help with the country’s socio-economic development.
