The gifts were presented within the framework of a volunteer programme, jointly held by the Thai Binh provincial Youth Union and Young Entrepreneur Association.
Accordingly, the Thai Binh provincial Young Entrepreneur Association handed over 400 school uniform shirts and 700kg of rice to students and people living in difficult circumstances in Lang Son province.
In Ai Chi Lang town, the delegation gifted more than 220kg of rice, school supplies; 100 primary school uniforms and 60 T-shirts; and provided free medical examinations and medicine to 200 local people.
The delegation from Thai Binh province visited Long Dong commune, Bac Son district to present 45 gifts and 10 new blankets to local disadvantaged households.
Also in Bac Son district, the delegation donated 50 packs of instant noodles, 100 uniforms for middle school students, 150 windbreakers and school supplies to students in Hung Vu commune
According to Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union Thieu Minh Quynh, the volunteer programme aims to promote compassion and support for children and people in disadvantaged areas, contributing to reducing poverty and ensuring social security in Lang Son province.
