Secretary Tran Duc Thang visited and presented gifts to the following war veterans: Vu Dinh Hoi (born in 1940), a 3/4 war veteran, residing on Hang Voi Street, Hoan Kiem Ward; and Tran Huy Tan (born in 1953), a 1/4 war veteran, a revolutionary soldier who was captured and imprisoned by the enemy, son of a martyr, residing on Phung Hung Street, Hoan Kiem Ward.
Visiting and presenting gifts to the families, Ha Noi Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang expressed his deep gratitude, sincere affection, and profound admiration for war invalids — those who bravely fought and dedicated their youth to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Despite bearing the scars of war, these war invalids have always maintained their character, will, faith, and optimism, truly serving as shining examples for younger generations to be proud of, learn from, and emulate.
Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasised that the Party Committee, government, and people of Ha Noi consistently view those who have contributed to the revolution as sacred symbols of patriotism and Vietnamese national morality.
He expressed his wish that the wounded soldiers continue to uphold the traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, live happily and healthily, and be shining examples for their descendants to follow. Each person is a vivid symbol of willpower and determination and a living testament to patriotism, indomitability, and unwavering loyalty, inspiring younger generations while at the same time continuing to contribute to building a cultured, civilised, and modern capital city.
On the occasion, the Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee requested that the Party committees and authorities of Hoan Kiem Ward, along with other relevant departments, agencies, and localities of the capital city in general, continue to pay more attention to and provide better care for the material and spiritual lives of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution.
