This is an important content stated within Dispatch No.20, signed by Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh on September 6 on the acceleration of the pandemic control to promote local socio-economic development.

According to the dispatch, Hanoi will conduct COVID-19 testing for 100% of its residents to separate F0s from the community and to immediately recover the economy in green and yellow zones, progressing to restart the economy in the entire city from September 15.

The testing will be carried out from September 6-12 depending on the pandemic status in each zone.

People living in blockaded and very high-risk zones will be tested every 2-3 days and in high-risk zones will be tested every 5-7 days while residents in other areas will be tested at least once.

After September 12, testing samples will continue to be taken to assess risks.

In addition, the city expects to complete the injection of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine for 100% of its adults before September 15.

Hanoi will organise more vaccination sites to bring the sites closer to the people. The city will also not limit the number of injections each day while reducing administrative procedures and promoting the maximum capacity of vaccination sites to meet the set target on vaccination coverage.
