Hanoi Metro serves 75,000 passengers during Lunar New Year holiday

Hanoi’s metro system comprising two lines, served nearly 75,000 passengers during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, as reported by Hanoi Metro on February 3.

From January 26 to 31, Line 2A (Cat Linh-Ha Dong Line) and Line 3 (Nhon-Hanoi Station Line) operated a total of 1,780 train journeys.

Specifically, Line 2A served 50,900 passengers, up 15% over the same period last year, while Line 3 served 23,500 passengers.

Starting February 3, the operation timetable of Hanoi’s two metro lines will return to normal, with trains running every 10 minutes during normal hours and 6 minutes during peak periods, from 5:30 am to 10 pm on weekdays.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the interval is 10 minutes all day.
