The films on show include ‘Punch’, ‘Masquerade’, ‘As One’, ‘A Werewolf Boy’ and ‘Jumbagi’, and star popular Korean actors and actresses such as Lee Byung-hun, Ha Ji-won and Kim Yun-seok.
The historical drama ‘Masquerade’, which was released in September this year, was enthusiastically welcomed by both cinema lovers and critics in RoK. The film has sold 10 million tickets in the RoK, ranking it as one of the most popular films yet released in the country.
The film’s director Choo Chang-min and producer Won Dong Yeon will share their experiences with Vietnamese colleagues at a seminar to be held on December 7.
Under the theme ‘Let’s Bring Souls Together’, the festival is co-organised by the Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the RoK Embassy in Vietnam as an event to mark the 20th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic relations. The festival previously ran in Ho Chi Minh City from October 18-24.
