The screenings form part of the “Homeland in Our Hearts: The Concert Film” Unitour, a series of events jointly organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper and universities nationwide.
This initiative aims to spread patriotic inspiration, nurture national pride among the younger generation, and create a space where music and imagery vividly convey the spirit of Viet Nam.
“Homeland in Our Hearts: The Concert Film” is a documentary capturing the “Homeland in Our Hearts” concert organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee. Beyond preserving the electrifying emotions of the artists and audience at My Dinh Stadium on the night of August 10, the film also follows the production team through every stage of preparation and implementation.
The film represents a strategic cultural product of Nhan Dan Newspaper, demonstrating efforts to elevate the value of Vietnamese culture and contribute to building a national brand in the era of integration, where culture and the creative industries play an increasingly important role.
The documentary was directed by Nguyen Manh Tuan, based on a script by director and screenwriter Vu Liem.
Since its release, the film has received an enthusiastic reception from audiences nationwide. Particularly moving were the moments when audiences placed their hands over their hearts and sang the National Anthem.
Notably, all ticket sale profits have been donated to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee to support communities affected by storms and floods.
The “Homeland in Our Hearts: The Concert Film” Unitour offers a unique experiential space for students, allowing them to immerse themselves in music, appreciate cultural depth, and connect with one another through genuine emotions. It also provides young people with an opportunity to better understand the creative journey behind a large-scale cultural work, thereby gaining insight into how Viet Nam’s creative industries are shaping a new identity for artistic products infused with national spirit.
