‘Homeland in Our Hearts: The Concert Film’ premieres on the big screen in Ho Chi Minh City

A special screening of ‘Homeland in Our Hearts: The Concert Film’ took place at CGV Su Van Hanh Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City on October 17, attracting a large number of artists, journalists, and art lovers.

Speaking at the event, Le Quoc Minh, Party Central Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation, and Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists Association, recalled that the ‘Homeland in Our Hearts’ concert at My Dinh Stadium left unforgettable memories among the tens of thousands of people who watched live and the millions who watched on television.

He said that that the concert film was released to allow those unable to attend the live concert at My Dinh Stadium to experience the powerful emotions of the programme.

The concert film is a modern cinematic work using 4K filming technology and multi-dimensional surround sound to vividly recreate the sacred and heroic atmosphere of the ‘Homeland in the Heart’ concert with over 50,000 spectators.

The film not only captures explosive moments on stage but also conveys emotions through close-up shots of the eyes, smiles, and moving moments of artists and the audience.

The diverse musical content, ranging from revolutionary and lyrical music to contemporary pop, is presented within a tight cinematic structure designed to honour Vietnamese cultural identity and national unity.

Director Dang Le Minh Tri said the concert is cherished as the “concert of patriotic hearts” and the film aims to spread patriotism and contribute to the development of Viet Nam’s cultural industry.

The film marks a further step in the cultural communication strategy of Nhan Dan Newspaper, expanding the journey of the ‘Homeland in Our Hearts’ concert from the live stage to the big screen, firmly establishing a pioneering role in building a sustainable communication-culture-art ecosystem and promoting Vietnamese cultural values in the era of international integration.

All ticket revenue will be donated to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee to support people affected by storms and floods.
