Ho Chi Minh City greets around 200 MICE tourists from India

A group of around 200 Indian travellers from Cryptriva Group visited Ho Chi Minh City for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism from February 9 to 12, according to the municipal Tourism Department.

The tour was jointly operated by Koji Trade and Tourism Investment JSC and India-based Skydays travel agency.

During their stay, the Indian tourists attended conferences and explored iconic tourist attractions of Ho Chi Minh City, such as the Independence Palace, the Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, the Municipal Theatre, Cu Chi Tunnel, and Ben Thanh Market.

They also joined a night-time city tour on a double-decker bus and embarked on a Mekong Delta tour in My Tho City, Tien Giang Province, and enjoyed exquisite Vietnamese and Indian dishes at local restaurants.

Nguyen Tran Tam Ha, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Centre, expressed her pleasure that Indian tourists chose Ho Chi Minh City as their destination.

She pledged that the city’s tourism sector will make greater efforts to improve service quality and provide visitors with unforgettable travel experiences.
