At the 2023 National Forum on Vietnam's Gaming Industry held on October 31 at the Vietnam National Innovation Centre, activities on investment and research for Vietnam's game industry were discussed. This is an important foundation to promote international cooperation, creating development opportunities for this field in the context of innovation.
The event is within the framework of the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2023), co-organised by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the National Innovation Centre, and Good Game Foundation.
Sharing about the programme, Director of the National Innovation Centre Vu Quoc Huy identified that digital media, video games, and e-sports are the key industries that will help Vietnam make strong progress, contributing to changing the growth model based on science, technology, and innovation.
However, over the past decade, although the Vietnamese video game industry has had many businesses that are rapidly accelerating and developing, the industry as a whole lacks uniformity in growth rate and investment scale.

The forum also focused on discussing unlocking the potential to upgrade the ecosystem for developing the video game industry as well as the e-sports industry in our country.
