Speaking at the event, Nguyen Huu Yen, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, stated that the 2025 edition of Techmart on digital transformation for smart urban development aims to create a space for connection, exchange, and cooperation, linking technology supply from research institutes and enterprises with the needs of application units.

The event is expected to become a “bright spot” in turning ideas into solutions – a platform for sharing experiences, fostering partnerships, and contributing to the overall digital transformation strategy that will help Ho Chi Minh City advance more rapidly towards developing a smart city driven by data, smart connectivity, and a citizen-centred approach.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology officially launched the expanded version of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Portal (Techport.vn), serving as an online technology exchange and a key hub connecting technology supply and demand within the city and across other localities.

Techmart 2025 also features 14 technology demonstration workshops and a free expert consultation zone with eight specialists from various institutes and universities to support businesses and organisations in selecting and implementing effective digital transformation solutions.
