At the festival, Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said that with the 4th industrial revolution and the strong digital transformation trend, vocational education plays an important role in training human resources with high vocational skills, meeting the increasingly developing needs of the labour market.
With a large population and a dynamic economy, the connection between vocational education with the labour market is not only an urgent requirement but also a long-term strategy to increase the rate of trained workers, improve labour productivity, improve competitiveness index, and develop a flexible, modern, effective, sustainable and integrated labour market.
Organised since 2019, the festival is a major, annual event of Ha Noi, held by the former Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, now the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
The first year only had 5,000 participants, this year, the festival attracted about 10,000 people.
Notably, 100% of graduates of some professional programs are recruited by businesses such as refrigeration and air conditioning engineering, electrical and electronic engineering technology, and automation technology.
