Teachers and students should make unceasing efforts to fulfil tasks for the year and obtain new achievements, thereby helping to equip younger generations – the future masters of Vietnam – with comprehensive knowledge and skills so that they can adequately contribute to the national construction and development, said Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Thuong.
On the same day, Politburo member, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang, joined teachers and students of the Le Hong Phong High School in Hung Nguyen District, in the central province of Nghe An, in a ceremony starting the 2022-2023 academic year.
He asked the education sector to press on with realising the Party and State’s policies on reforming the management and promoting the quality of education, including ethics and life skills education, thereby creating high-quality human resources for the country.
He also expressed his hope that in the new school year, students nationwide will make efforts in learning and self-improvement, to help turn Vietnam into a strong and prosperous nation, that is comparable to other countries around the world, as late President Ho Chi Minh aspired.
Also on September 5, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung came to share the new school year’s joy with teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students.
