The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival takes place from March 9 to 13 with official activities and some activities responding to the festival of localities, with an expected scale of about 400 booths.
Nguyen Tuan Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and head of the Organising Committee, said that after eight events, the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival has become a prominent event in the Vietnamese coffee industry, a great influence and leaving a good impression on people, domestic and international tourists.

This year's Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will feature many new highlights, with events such as the Coffee and OCOP Products Specialty Exhibition Fair; Specialty Coffee Roasting Competition, International Trade Conference - Connecting and Elevating Vietnamese Coffee; Groundbreaking Ceremony of Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory; Coffee Camp “Accompanying, Sharing” at the historical and cultural relic site of CADA Plantation in Krong Pac District.
According to Nguyen Tuan Ha, Dak Lak’s coordination with central ministries, branches, and the Central Highlands provinces to organise the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is an important trade promotion activity. It helps domestic and foreign enterprises promote their products, linking the development between production and export, expanding markets and investment cooperation.
The festival is also expected to be a good opportunity for managers and domestic and foreign enterprises to meet, exchange business cooperation, contribute to promoting the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand, promote investment, connect trade, developing tourism.
Known as the coffee capital of Vietnam, Dak Lak Province has the largest coffee area in the country, with an area of about 210,000 hectares. This locality harvests more than 520,000 tons of coffee annually, accounting for more than 30% of the country's coffee output.
Dak Lak coffee has been exported to more than 100 countries and territories around the world.
