NA Vice Chairman attends opening ceremony for new school year in Quang Ngai

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and National Assembly, NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong cordially offered his best wishes and warmest greetings to teachers, students and parents, wishing that teachers and students may enter the new school year with new spirit and reap many successes.

He affirmed that the Party and State always consider education as the top national policy, placing education in an extremely important position in the country's development process, and have allocated many resources to prioritise investment in developing the education career.

Policies focused on comprehensive education reform, with special attention paid to education work, especially education work in remote, border, and island areas, he noted.

The NA vice chairman requested that Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, organisations, and parents would continue to uphold their sense of responsibility; coordinate to take better care of the education and training career; continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies on education and training; create favourable conditions for facilities, teaching and learning equipment according to the regulations of standard schools; supplement the number of teachers according to the staffing quota such that students have the conditions to study, develop their intelligence, skills, and physical strength; and care for students who are children of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and families with especially difficult circumstances.

On the occasion, NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong presented Ba Vi Secondary School with 31 sets of computers. Meanwhile, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank), Quang Ngai Branch presented 50 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances and those overcoming difficulties in studying at Ba Vi Secondary School.
