Phan Boi Chau, one of the pioneers of Vietnamese patriotism from the end of the 19th century to the early 20th century, is an important historical figure in laying the foundation for the friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.
On the occasion, a 4.5-metre tall stone statue of the Vietnamese patriot was unveiled at the relic site in the same name of the hero in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.
Located in Dong Liet commune, Phan Boi Chau’s town, the relic site aims to help younger generations learn more about their nation’s history and revolutionary traditions.
