The event took place amid nationwide celebrations marking the 14th National Congress of the Party, with Hue selected as one of the live broadcast hubs nationwide.

Hue International General Hospital has a total investment of more than 2.3 trillion VND and was built to help enhance the medical examination and treatment capacity of Hue City and the Central region and the Central Highlands regions. The project aims to enable people to access high-quality healthcare services locally, while also helping to ease pressure on the public healthcare system.

The facility is constructed under a modern general hospital model, combining medical treatment with care and rehabilitation spaces. It comprises 16 above-ground floors and two basement levels, with a total usable floor area of more than 20,000 sq m and a capacity of over 260 beds. The hospital space is designed in a synchronised and modern manner, with a strong focus on safety, greenery, and a friendly environment, meeting increasingly high standards for medical examination and treatment.

The project contributes to realising the goal of building Hue City into a specialised, high-quality medical centre of the region and the country, commensurate with its status as a centrally run city.

City leaders acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, management staff, doctors, nurses, and workers throughout the project’s implementation. At the same time, they requested that the hospital continue to focus on human resource development, invest in modern technology, uphold medical ethics, and further improve service quality to better meet the growing healthcare needs of the people.

On this occasion, Hue International General Hospital donated to the Social Welfare Fund of the Hue City Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee, demonstrating its social responsibility and its commitment to accompanying the locality in social welfare activities.
